The “Reserve Inspiration” art exhibition will take place at the Cannon Beach Gallery from May 3 through June 2.
Join us and our partners from the Audubon Society of Lincoln City from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, for an opening reception to meet the artists and view their artwork, all inspired by the beauty and diversity of Oregon’s five Marine Reserves (from north to south, they are Cape Falcon, Cascade Head, Otter Rock, Cape Perpetua and Redfish Rocks).
The artists included in the “Reserve Inspiration” art exhibition are:
Julie Fiedler, Ceramic Sculptor
Bob Kroll, Photographer
Cynthia Longhat-Adams, FirePainter
Victoria McOmie, Abstract Artist
Nora Sherwood, Natural Science Illustrator
Jill Perry Townsend, Plein Aire Seascape Painter
This is the last opportunity to see this assemblage of artists; the exhibition will have been shown at galleries by all five of the reserves. Galleries have included the Lincoln City Cultural Center’s Chessman Gallery; the Visual Arts Center’s William Runyan Gallery in Newport; the Coos Art Museum in Coos Bay; and finally, the Cannon Beach Gallery in Cannon Beach.
