Little Skipanon, at the northeast edge of the Warrenton High School campus, is a forested wetlands that is well connected to the Skipanon River. It has a canopy of Sitka spruce and mixed alder, crab apple and cascara, and an understory of salmonberry, elderberry, huckleberry, salal and twinberry.
