Cape Falcon Marine Reserve Community Meeting

Do you have pressing questions about the Cape Falcon Marine Reserve, or simply a desire to learn more about this conserved area? Now’s your chance! In partnership with the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife, we’re hosting a casual meeting for members of the communities surrounding the reserve, including Manzanita, Arch Cape, and Falcon Cove.

At this community meeting, we’ll share about NCLC’s Marine Program, the science and research currently happening, and information about harvesting restrictions and other regulations.

Scott Groth, Resource Assessment and Management Section Leader with ODFW’s Marine Resources Program, will be present to answer any questions you might have about the reserve! Afterward, stick around for light refreshments and to meet other folks in the community who are passionate about marine conservation.

For more information, contact Marine Program Manager Angela Whitlock at angelaw@NCLCtrust.org.
