If you make automatic, recurring monthly contributions to NCLC, you’re a Sustaining Steward. It’s an easy way for a donor committed to NCLC’s mission to have a big impact, providing both you and NCLC with a more predictable cash flow.

Support NCLC Through Your Business

Our business partners are a valuable part of our support network at NCLC. There are three primary ways we encourage companies in our service area to connect to our mission of coastal conservation and stewardship:

• Becoming a member of 1% for the Planet
• Partnering with the Kind Traveler program
• Making a standard donation (one time or regularly) through your business entity

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a separately identified fund or account that is maintained and operated by a sponsoring nonprofit organization. Each account is composed of contributions made by individual donors.

Additionally, NCLC is a member of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Endowment Partner Fund. If you would like to give a gift to NCLC’s endowment, the funds will be directly donated to NCLC’s Endowment Fund held by OCF. Speak with us for more details if you would like to explore this giving option.

Donate Appreciated Stock

Ready to donate stock? Simply email nclc@nclctrust.org to let us know you are planning a donation of stock. We will reply with instructions and brokerage account information. We appreciate you letting us know of the intended donation of stock. Privacy laws may prohibit our broker from telling us who our generous benefactor is.

Employer Match

Some employers match their employees’ charitable contributions. Check to see if your employer offers this kind of program, which makes your donation to North Coast Land Conservancy go even farther. Call NCLC at 503-738-9126 to request our Employer Identification Number.

Real Estate and Personal Property

You also can donate real estate and/or personal property. It is preferable for these gifts to be unrestricted, giving us the freedom to keep or sell the land or items, if that is more beneficial to the organization. If you would like to gift real estate with a restricted use, reach out to us and we can discuss possible options.

De-clutter your driveway while helping support conservation! You can donate your used car, truck, boat, motor home, or other vehicle. We’ll handle all the details!
