Join NCLC Executive Director Katie Voelke at the Astoria Co+op at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, for a special presentation: “Celebrating Coastal Ecology.”
This talk will highlight the vital land-to-sea connection on the Oregon Coast and the vast array of species—both wildlife and plants—who rely on habitat connectivity to thrive in their home. This includes everyone from the beautiful nudibranchs in the tide pools at the Cape Falcon Marine Reserve, to the towering coniferous trees in the temperate rainforest, to the busy beavers at work in our coastal wetlands, to us humans!
The presentation also will touch on our place within this diverse tapestry and how land and marine conservation is essential to ensure the Oregon Coast remains a place where healthy communities of people, plants and wildlife all thrive.
No registration is required and all are welcome to attend!
