The Ecola Road Wetlands are a forested wetland of primarily alder, hemlock and spruce. Sedges and skunk cabbage comprise the wetland element, with red elderberry, huckleberry, sword fern in the forest understory and floor. These wetlands are a part of the larger Tillamook Head ecosystem.
