Volunteer at a Stewardship Day

Everyone is welcome to join our Stewardship Days, whether you’re a first-timer or a regular volunteer. Our stewardship program is a great way to visit some of NCLC’s most special properties, while helping with stewardship activities that will help keep the land healthy and thriving.

Become a Site Steward

Site Stewards are highly dedicated volunteers who agree to visit, report on, and conduct stewardship duties at one or more assigned NCLC habitat reserves three to four times a year. With some 60 habitat reserves spread over three counties, NCLC has come to depend on our Site Stewardship Program. To inquire about becoming a Site Steward, email Stewardship Director Melissa Reich at melissar@nclctrust.org.
