The North Coast Land Conservancy is growing its Board of Directors.
We are prioritizing new Board Members who reflect the communities that we serve and can fulfill the needs we have in these ways*:
- Conservation-mission focused
- Lived experience and perspective to share as members of the BIPOC and LGBTQAI+ communities
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Land Justice
- Experience with financial management
- Familiarity with NCLC or land trusts
- North Coast based
- Prior board experience
*No single candidate would be expected to meet all of these priorities*
If this sounds like you or someone you know, we want to hear from you! We are seeking up to four (4) new board members to serve. Terms include up to three (3) three-year terms (total possible service of nine years) beginning Spring 2025.
We are accepting applications for our Board of Directors through Feb. 23, 2025. Please complete this brief application form to express your interest in being considered for the board. Nominees will hear from us in the following weeks as the Board Development Committee works to review the applications and set interviews for the top candidates.

(Our standing committees are Development, Conservation, Finance, Outreach, Marine, Trails and Maintenance, and Organizational Development. Our regular volunteer needs are land stewardship, maintenance, office support, mass mailings and outreach events.)
