Restoration Rendezvous

Join us from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 16, for an impromptu Restoration Rendezvous at Circle Creek Conservation Center, just south of Seaside.

We will be planting about 2,500 native shrubs to restore degraded pastureland (that once had as many as 800 cows on it!) into habitat for birds and other wildlife. These shrubs will grow tall and also sequester significant carbon over time. We’re looking to get as many planted as we can before June.

During the last hour, we’ll have some brews and N/A beverages available for a “Restoration Rendez-brew.” Join us for a fun Friday activity!

Event Details: Please park in the East gravel parking lot near the CCCC Community Room. From there, we will carpool in NCLC’s work trucks to the restoration site.

What to Bring: We’ll have gloves, tools and snacks on hand for those who need them, but folks can bring their own if they have some they’d like to use instead.  Plan to bring water, sunscreen, layers/rain gear, boots, etc.  and whatever else you need to be comfortable working in the field for a couple of hours.
