December 1, 2017

Friday, Dec. 1
Time TBA
Boneyard Ridge Habitat Reserve

NCLC is looking for a few hardy volunteers to help cut and haul fir trees on the very steep slopes of Boneyard Ridge. After cutting, the trees will be loaded into trucks and transported down the hill to the barn at Circle Creek Conservation Center for our second-annual Conservation Christmas Tree Sale that weekend. We need strong volunteers to carry trees, volunteers with pickup trucks, and volunteers with chainsaw experience and their own chainsaws. If you are interested in helping, please contact NCLC Stewardship Director Melissa Reich at 503-738-9126 or for more details.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP BUT AREN’T A LUMBERJACK (OR -JILL), we can use volunteers to help with our tree sale Dec. 2 and 3. Duties include setting up trees, cutting trees to custom height, and helping people load their trees onto their vehicles. Click on the link above for more information about the sale, and contact Melissa for details if you are interested in helping.
