Different images define the coast for different people. For some, tidepools and rocky shores hold the most interest, while others are drawn to the sanderlings running along outstretched sandy beaches.

The north Oregon coast holds incredible diversity. Nestled between the Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean, the region has it all: beautiful forests, spawning salmon streams, wetlands storing water to keep the area green, and estuaries -- the focal points between watersheds and oceans.

This coastal region functions as a whole. We want to ensure it will continue funcitoning for future generations.
