Listening to the Land Programs

From January through May, North Coast Land Conservancy and the Necanicum Watershed Council present Listening to the Land, a monthly speaker series that delves into the natural world of the North Coast at a time of year when blustery coastal weather makes outdoor exploration more of a challenge.

The Oregon Coast is a landscape in constant flux. How has the coast changed through time? Since our arrival more than 10,000 years ago, how have humans experienced, adapted to, and altered the natural landscape?

These questions are at the heart of this year’s Listening to the Land speaker series, now in its sixth season. To be reminded about each Listening to the Land event, sign up for our monthly e-newsletter.
